| Alge Crumpler is widely
regarded as the most complete package at Tight End in this draft. He should
be one of the first Tight Ends selected.
PROS: Crumpler has pretty soft hands. He's pretty reliable catching the ball as well. Crumpler is a good athlete who can do a few things with the ball after the catch. As a blocker he is pretty strong and does a decent job with pass protection. CONS: Crumpler, at 6'2 1/2 doesn't really have the ideal Tight End height. Also, some scouts have questions about his route running. BOTTOM LINE: Probably the only TE in this draft who can block and catch equally as well. He should be a 2nd Round pick. |
