LEONARD DAVIS

| Definitely an imposing
physical speciman. Davis is a powerful, tenacious player who can anchor
an offensive line. He can play Left tackle, but some teams may want to
move him to the right. As a run blocker, Davis is great at manhandling
his opponent. He has great balance and doesn't quit on a play until the
whistle is blown. As for pass blocking, Davis again gives himself a good
solid base. His footwork and mobility are impressive for a man his size.
However, sometimes he comes out of his stance a little slowly.
His greatest attribute is his incredible strength. He can dominate the man across from him. At this point, Davis is a top five type pick. He may be a little overrated on his ability to step in right away. He has great physical talent but looks like he will need more time to develop than previous to Offensive linemen like Chris Samuels, Jonathon Ogden and Walter Jones. However, Davis' dominant ability makes his a wonderful prospect. He should be in the league a long time. |
