PROSPECT PROFILE
MARQUES TUIASOSOPO QUARTERBACK WASHINGTON 6'1 215 4.8 |
A two year starter
at Washington but had playing time prior to that. He led the Huskies to
the 2000 Rose Bowl and won it over Drew Brees and Purdue.
PROS: A good athlete who isn't afraid to take off and run. Quicker than he is fast in the open field. Is a tough leader who will take hits and get up. Has a good arm. CONS: Not refined as a passer. Still has work on reading coverages and also needs some work on accuracy. At a shade under 6'1, he's also short by NFL QB standards. BOTTOM LINE: A great competitor whose fiery nature will be welcomed on most teams. Could end up being a surprise but doesn't figure to be ready for a few years. Depending on what teams are thinking, could go as high as the third or as low as the fifth. |
