2001 TOP POINT GUARD PROSPECTS

1.JAMAAL TINSLEY - Iowa State - Sr   --  6'3, 175
An excellent ball handler, penetrator and distributer. The total package and one of the more "sure" picks in this draft.

2.OMAR COOK - St.Johns - Frosh   --   6'1, 180
A great ball handler and passer. Needs to develop a more consistent jumper. Talented but inexperienced.

3.KENNY SATTERFIELD - Cincinnati - Soph   --   6'3, 180
Solid ball handler and passer. Penetrates well but doesn't have a consistent enough jumper yet.

4.RASHAD PHILLIPS - Detroit - Sr   --  5'10, 160
Can score at will. A great outside shooter but hasn't really had to run an offense yet. A little on the short side as well.

5.JASON GARDNER - Arizona   --   5'10, 180
A strong leader who is steady with the ball in his hands. Not a consistent outside shooter. May return to school.

6.HOARCE JENKINS - William Patterson - Sr  --   6'1, 180
A Division III prospect who has really lifted his stock in the postseason camps. A solid 2nd Rounder.

7.TITO MADDOX - Fresno State - Fr   --
Needs another year and may go back. Has great talent but has to become a smarter player.

8.COOKIE BELCHER - Nebraska - Sr   --   6'4, 205
A bigger Guard who isn't a pure scorer but is an excellent defender. His great defense will get him drafted.

9.WILL SOLOM0N - Clemson - Jr
A great scorer who may go back to school. Needs to learn to run the offense, but a great shooter.

10.EARL WATSON - UCLA - Sr
A real leader and floor general, just not the most athletic guy and doesn't really look to score.
