1.DREW HENSON - Junior - Michigan
6'3  220  4.7
Has all the tools. Has a cannon for an arm and
is mobile. Franchise type QB.

2.MICHAEL VICK - Sopomore - Virgina Tech<
6'1  205  4.3
Maybe the best athlete in all of NCAA Football, escapability
and arm strength unrivled. Needs mechanical work.

3.DREW BREES - Senior - Purdue p;
6'0  218  4.7
May drop a bit if the other two declare, but Brees has all the intangibles needed to succeed in the NFL.

4.CHRIS WEINKE - Senior - Florida State
6'5  235  5.1
Of course the age factor will come up, but this Heisman winner has the size and smarts to play in the NFL.

5.MARQUES TUIASOSOPO - Senior - Washington
6'2  220  4.7
An underrated QB. Tuiasosopo has good mobility. He has
been impressive at times but still an inconsistent passer.

Underclassmen Drew Henson (top) and Michael Vick (bottom) are both considering entering the 2001 NFL Draft. However, if both wait, they would battle each other for the right to be the first pick of the Houston Texans in 2002.

JOSH HEUPEL - Senior - Oklahoma
6'2  215  5.0
Had a great Senior season. He is a poised, smart, and
accurate passer who is limited athletically.

SAGE ROSENFELS - Senior - Iowa State
6'4  220  4.9
Big and fairly mobile. He can make the downfield throws
needs more overall consistency and accuracy.

BEN LEARD - Senior - Auburn
6'3  220  4.9
Big and pretty athletic. A good pocket passer but is still
learning the finer points of Quarterbacking.

MIKE McMAHON - Senior - Rutgers
6'3  215  4.8
Nice arm and release. Pretty mobile. Inconsistent and not
very durable. Shined at the Blue Gray All Star Classic.

BART HENDRICKS - Senior - Boise State
6'0  220  4.8
No longer the sleeper he was last year. Very Drew Brees
like. Undersized but smart. Questionable arm strength.

OU's Josh Heupel may have had a great year in 2001 but scouts are worried about his arm strength and athleticism.

Auburn's Ben Leard has NFL QB size, he just has a few things to work on like footwork and overall accuracy.

JUSTIN COLEMAN - Nebraska Kearney
CLEO LEMON - Arkansas State
DAVID RIVERS - Western Carolina
SHANE GRIGGS - Idaho State
JIM BLANCHARD - Portland State
MIKE BATH - Miami Ohio
WALT CHURCH - Eastern Michigan
DREW MILLER - Montana
GAVIN HOFFMAN - Pennsylvania
TORY WOODBURY - Winston Salem State
Portland State's Jimmy Blanchard (right) has a lot of intangibles but not the size and athleticism. He may sneak into the later rounds. On the other hand, Cleo Lemon, Justin Coleman, and Tory Woodbury are sleepers with great size and arm strength. Both can make big moves up draft boards with strong postseasons.

RASHARD CASEY - Penn State
ROMARO MILLER - Mississippi
JAY STONER - Wyoming
VICTOR PENN - Central Florida
JESSE PALMER - Florida
BUTCHIE WASHINGTON - Akron
A.J. FEELY - Oregon
DEONTEY KENNER - Cincinati

Rashard Casey (left) and Deontey Kenner (right) are two athletic QBs who have mechanics to iron out before they get serious NFL consideration.

TAVARES BOLDEN - Junior - Toledo
DUSTY BONNER - Junior - Valdosta State
QUINCY CARTER - Junior - Georgia
WOODROW DANTZLER - Junior - Clemson
KEN DORSEY - Sophomore - Miami
DAVID GERRARD - Junior - East Carolina
GEORGE GODSEY - Junior - Gerogia Tech
JOEY HARRINGRON - Junior - Oregon
KURT KITTNER - Junior - Illinois
BYRON LEFTWITCH - Sophomore - Marshall
WAYNE MADKIN - Junior - Mississippi State
DAVID NEILL - Junior - Nevada
DAVID RIVERS - Freshman - NC State
CHRIS SIMS - Sophomore - Texas
JONATHON SMITH - Junior - Oregon State
JEFF SMOKER - Freshman - Michigan State
JASON THOMAS - Sophomore - UNLV

Marshall's Byron Leftwitch replaced NFL First Rounder Chad Pennington very well in 2000. Leftwitch led the Herd to yet another MAC title. At 6'5 with a big arm, Leftwitch will be a great prospect in a couple of years.
