PROSPECT PROFILE
SANTANA MOSS WIDE RECEIVER MIAMI 5'10 175 4.4 |
Santana Moss was in the opinion of many a legitimate Heisman contender in 2000. Moss was probably the most gamebreaking player in college football. That should continue in the pros. Moss' speed and elusiveness have drawn him comparisons to Az Zahir Hakim of the Rams and Peter Warrick of the Bengals. Moss has great hands. The only reason he will drop a ball is lack of concentration or trying to run before he catches a pass. Once he catches it though, Moss is dynamite. A threat to score every time he touches it. His size is his greatest if not his only limitation. He has to prove that he can get off of the jamming from NFL corners. He must also prove himself as a blocker downfield. Moss can be a difference maker. He can bring electricity to a stadium. Expect him on wide receiver screens and reverses. Also expect to see him on punt returns where he is very dangerous. Moss should be one of the first receivers taken, likely in round one. |
